Freestanding Bathtubs

      Freestanding bathtubs are making a comeback in today's bathroom designs.  Reproductions of popular Victorian styled clawfoot bathtubs are a style that many people  admire.  There are also many modern designs of freestanding bathtubs in a variety of shapes and sizes to choose from.

Freestanding bathtubs work very well in larger sized bathrooms.  They are often empasized as a focal point of the room with plenty of open space surrounding the bathtub.  In small bathroom designs these styles of tubs can look great placed beneath the bathroom window.  There are also spectacular freestanding copper bathtubs that make a beautiful addition to a bathroom although they can be a very expensive option.

Another style of freestanding bathtub that adds exceptional beauty and elegance to a bathroom is a draped bathtub.  Other choices include modern freestanding jetted bathtubs and freestanding soaker baths.  Some designs of soaker tubs also feature a hand held shower.  Modern freestanding tubs come in many different designs and sizes some of which combine the look of vintage and contemporary styling.
